Am I the only one that thought June just flew by?
I am so not ready for my summer break to be over but it seems to be headed that way:(
Today I get to link up with 2 great bloggy teachers
Kind of killing 2 birds with one stone (so to speak).
First is Farley's Currently and Second will be Katie King's Work It Wednesday.
My two youngest kids are running around the house chasing the dog and I'm sitting here listening to Paw Patrol as I work on my computer. Not my favorite but if I change the channel the kiddos will suddenly realize it and then come camp out by me so I won't get anything done.
I am lovin' my summer break!! It has been rainy this week so it hasn't been great pool weather but that's OK. I'm still enjoying the lazy days.
Professional Development and Lesson Plans should not be on my mind but they are. I am suppose to be working on some PD that I have to present in August to our faculty but I haven't worked on it in a while and I really don't want to. But I will! I also really need to start thinking about how I'm going to teach Reading, Science and Social Studies all together this year instead of separately. I just don't have the time. I'm using Reading Wonders this year and I need to have an idea before I go back.
The TpT Vegas Trip is not happening for me:( this year. I'm going to do everything I can to be there next year. So if you're going have a safe fun trip and come back and tell me all about it. Pretty please!
I really need to be cleaning house. Right now I have 3 loads of laundry sitting in my dinning room waiting patiently for me to fold and put it away. It's been there for a little bit
My All Star is baking. I enjoy baking and I am pretty good at it. I have always thought I would love to own a small little bakery someday. Maybe that can be my retirement job. Who knows!
Now for my second link up!!
Wednesday means linking up with Katie and talking about getting fit.
My oldest daughter and I went walking around our neighborhood this week. One time around the WHOLE thing is a little over 1 mile. We walked it 3 TIMES. We just got to talking and we just kept going. It was so much fun to spend time with her. I don't get to do that very often because she is always with her boyfriend, at work or out with friends. It's wonderful to get that little be of one on one time with just her and getting a little exercise at the same time wasn't bad.
Let's talk a little bit about shoes.
Your shoes can really make a HUGE difference.
I found out the hard way about 2 years ago.
I thought I had broken my toe.
Couldn't walk, was in tremendous pain and it was Christmas Eve:(
Long story short it was my shoes.
The bad thing; They were new but they didn't fit correctly.
I now know I need a wide toe box when I get shoes.
These here are new and I'm loving them!!!
Water is so important to getting healthy!
I try to drink at least a gallon a day.
These are my go to water tools.
Some days I start off with a bottled water and then just keep filling it.
Other days I have to have my blender bottles.
I know that they both hold 4 cups so that helps me keep track.
Sometimes water just doesn't cut it and then I have me a Spark.
Grape is my new fav!!
It seriously taste just like grape cool-aide but with out all the added sugar and junk.
I don't have a pic but I also occasionally have a sparkling ICE water.
If I'm really craving a soda these help satisfy me.
I do make sure to only have 1 a day and usually I only have about 2 in one week.
I'm not going to lie this week has been hard.
I havn't been doing very well and I hate that.
So I have fresh fruit setting out on my dinning room table.
The idea is that I will grab one of these instead of the cookies that my daughter made and left on the stove:/ #nowillpoweragainstcookies #theyarepeanutbutter
So that's what I've been doing this past week to get a little bit healthier.
What have you been doing?
